We have been with Computer Rescue since November 2015. Swapping providers was a difficult decision for us as we had used an independent consultant since the business set up in September 2007, however as our business grew, it became apparent that this consultant could no longer meet the needs of the business and its expansion. We were recommended Computer Rescue who initially met us and our staff to ascertain our needs and plans and then came back to us with a proposal. Our systems have been updated and we now have bi-weekly visits from Computer Rescue which enables us to ask the engineer any small issues we have. This service came at a price for us, which we were reluctant to commit to at the start, but with hindsight, we see this to be an investment for the future knowing that our system is safe in the hands of Computer Rescue.

We contacted Computer Rescue around seven years ago during our business expansion, but, being a family run business, we decided to opt for a smaller, more local IT consultancy. While the price was better with said consultancy, it became clear that our choice has been an incorrect one as the system recommended to us could not cope with our workload. I would highly recommend the services of Computer Rescue. We have tried cheaper providers in the past and the promises made during the sales pitch disappear after a month or two and at that point you are tied into a contract. Every time we need Computer Rescue’s help the team have been great, and if we do not understand what’s needed, they take control of the computer remotely and fix the problem. This level of service is very rare. Computer Rescue maintain our server and desktop computers to ensure they are always safe and fully backed up. Viruses are so sophisticated now that constant security updates are needed and the ‘off the shelf’ packages just do not suffice. In this day and age, the computer is king, and the last thing I would compromise on would be computer support .
